Steve Slavsky was President and CEO of AngioLight, an early stage medical device company focused on developing intravascular diagnostic solutions. Previously, he was Vice President of Business and Product Development at CorNova, the predecessor to AngioLight, where he brought multiple innovative stent technologies through CE certification.
Prior to CorNova, Steve was the Founder of two product development design firms, Next and Tri-Cycle Product Design, working with clients to develop product and process solutions in diverse industries such as medical devices, wearable sensor technology, micro-gravity environments, biometric controlled devices, RFID, distance learning, photovoltaics, fuel cell technology, water purification, computer peripherals and networking, high temperature superconductivity, robotics and machine control.
Previously he was involved in the Photovoltaics industry as a Senior Development and Applications Engineer, with ASE Americas and Mobil Solar Energy Corporation, developing innovative solutions in crystal growth, lasers, diffusion and etching, and module design and fabrication, where he led a major tech transfer program between European and American affiliates.
Mr Slavsky holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, both from Northeastern University. He has served on two boards, and is involved in mentoring high-school and college students in business and entrepreneurship, and an idea-stage company through the MIT Enterprise Forum. He holds three U.S. patents.
Steve also dances and teaches Argentine Tango. But that's another story...
